‹Vineta› combines two series of images from the GDR: portraits from 1985 and cityscapes from 1990. The motifs mark moments from the last years of the GDR on the one hand, and the beginning of Andreas Trogisch’s photographic work on the other. This is also expressed in the formal divergence of the series, with the later one demonstrating the search for formal clarity and the determining role of light much more clearly.
